Welcome to Moreton Bay Support & Recovery

Welcome and let me tell you a little be about myself.

My name is Dan and I Myself have my own journey with disabilities.

For over 20 years now I have been taking my steps to recovery. I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Agoraphobia, Anxiety disorders, Depression and Fibromyalgia over the last 20 years after going through some life changing events in my childhood and teen years.

With my very supportive team of family, friends and health professionals I managed with a lot of hard work and perseverance to go from being homebound hardly being able to walk to my letterbox to being able to go back to work.

During Covid I was lucky enough after showing my hard work to be given a chance to move from being a courier driver to working in the operations management team of a successful transport labour hire company. I am now wanting to use these skills with my passion of my own successful recovery to support you.

My new goal is to build a business where I can help people on their own journey where they feel like their needs are being put first with the best intentions for success for you and for me as every day is a step forward for both of us on our journey.

My name is Lauren,
I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.

In April 2025 I joined the MBSR team as a specialist support coordinator. I undertook a Certificate in Youth Work prior to change my employment journey, landing within the legal field which has supported my administration skills. It was during this time that I commenced back at university within the human services field. Following completing my Bachelor of Social Work in 2017, I commenced as a support worker and supported a NFP organisation transition from block funding to NDIS. Later I joined the NDIS as a Local Area Coordinator for just over 5 years, gaining experience in NDIS policies and procedures including training of staff in the new PACE rollout in the office while supporting the complex needs of participants.
I am really excited to be able to use all of these skills and qualifications I have gained over the last decade to be able to offer support to people on the NDIS in a more relaxed setting.
